Dr. Doron is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Welfare and Health Sciences, and at the Faculty of Law, Haifa University, Haifa, Israel. He specializes in elder law, social policy and aging, and senior's rights. He is the author of "Justice, Law & Aging" (2007, Hebrew), editor of “Theories on Law and Ageing” (2008, Springer), and the author of numerous academic articles in international journals. Dr. Doron is also active in various non-governmental organizations, and one of the founders of the Israeli NGO: “The Law in the Service of the Elderly.” In 2006 Dr. Doron received the “Zusman-JDC Prize” for Excellence in the field of Assistance to the Elderly.
